ARU receives top marks in Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF)
Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), a partner university of ARU College, has been awarded a Gold rating in the latest Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
The TEF is a national scheme that assesses student experience and student outcomes in all universities across England. It has three outcomes, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold. ARU received the highest award this year, signifying that “student experience and outcomes are typically outstanding” at the university.
ARU was commended for “innovative and highly effective course design and content that inspires students to actively engage and commit to their learning.” Its “approaches to supporting student success” were rated as outstanding and the Welcome Buddy Scheme. The university’s fully integrated approach to students’ mental health support were also commended.
Followed by the news earlier this month, ARU has also been shortlisted for University of the Year in the Times Higher Education (THE) 2023 awards.
