Closure of the ACAP Professional Year Program

After a business review, the Navitas Careers and Industry Division has decided to close the Professional Year Program (PYP). Effective on 6 November 2023, all enrolments have been ceased. All current students will be taught out as usual. 

The decision follows multiple government reviews and an evolving policy landscape. These changes have come after a period where the effects of COVID impacted the long-term viability of the program. 

Taking care of students is always a priority at Navitas. As current students continue to be taught at eight national campuses in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney, Navitas will keep helping current students to complete coursework and internships as well as helping future students identify suitable alternatives.

The Professional Year Program is delivered by Navitas Professional Training Pty Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Navitas Pty Limited. This decision does not impact any other business units, divisions or joint ventures operated by Navitas.
