ICRGU sponsored the 2023 Hillcrest Annual STEM Fair in Nairobi
International College Robert Gordon University (ICRGU) is thrilled to share the success of supporting and sponsoring the 2023 Hillcrest Annual STEM Fair in Nairobi, Kenya.
Organised by Hillcrest Secondary, the Hillcrest Annual SREM Fair is an event that aims to promote and showcase the talent and innovation of young students in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). ICRGU was the lead sponsor for this year’s event. Over 10 schools from around Nairobi and beyond were invited to participate.
During the event, ICRGU was honoured to promote its practical STEM programmes, including Architecture, Computing, Engineering, Health Sciences, and Nursing. To align with the university’s promotion of STEM courses, the Hillcrest Annual STEM Fair provided a platform for students to present their STEM projects, engage in interactive workshops, and learn from industry experts.
The event served as a unique opportunity for young minds to explore their passion for STEM and develop valuable skills for the future. To encourage them, ICRGU awarded sponsored prizes to the participants in the following categories:
- Junior Category (Year 9)
- Middle School Category (Year 10 & 11)
- Senior School Category (Year 12 & 13)
The main objective for supporting this event was to demonstrate ICRGU’s commitment to nurturing and encouraging young talent in STEM. The college hopes that its support of this event will have a lasting impact on the participating students.
Led by Schools Engagement Manager Victoria Kimotho, ICRGU was excited to work with Hillcrest International School to inspire and empower the next generation of innovators and problem solvers in the field of STEM.
