Curtin Singapore welcomes its new Pro Vice-Chancellor and President
Curtin Singapore is excited to welcome Professor Alex Stojcevski as the new Pro Vice-Chancellor and President. With a rich background in academic leadership across Australia, Asia, and Europe, Professor Stojcevski brings extensive expertise in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), sustainability, and AI. He looks forward to leading Curtin Singapore as it continues to grow and transform.
“I am thrilled to be joining an innovative, global university known for its high-impact research, strong industry partnerships and commitment to preparing people for jobs of the future. I am looking forward to bringing my passion for people, technology, innovation, and transnational education and working with an incredibly talented team at Navitas and Curtin global to drive forward our vision,” said Professor Stojcevski.
Professor Stojcevski’s academic achievements include a PhD in Engineering and a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Education (Leadership), and Project-Based Learning. He has an internationally recognised profile in sustainability and renewable energy, AI, and STEM education, with more than 450 publications. Professor Stojcevski has also supervised more than 30 PhD students to completion and has solid global collaborations across numerous industries, governments, and universities, resulting in funding of 90 million Australian dollars.
