New cybersecurity course at La Trobe University Sydney Campus

La Trobe University Sydney Campus is pleased to announce a brand-new course offering, Bachelor of Cybersecurity. Commencing in March 2025, the new course is designed specifically for students looking to enter one of the world’s most in-demand industries.

Bachelor of Cybersecurity

Students studying this course will step into the rapidly evolving digital world of cybersecurity. To prepare them for an in-demand career as cybersecurity experts, students will:

• gain a deep understanding of the basic principles and best practices of cybersecurity
• learn in-demand skills in network engineering, coding, ethical hacking and governance.
• build coding expertise and access industry-based projects and mentoring opportunities with major corporations

The new course will have three intakes each academic year. Students enrolling in the bachelor’s program may be eligible for the High Achievers Scholarship, which covers 15% to 25% of the total tuition fee.
