The Hague Pathway College
Eduardo Antonio is an international student from Panama who completed the International Foundation program at The Hague Pathway College in 2020, before completing his Bachelor degree in European Studies at The Hague University of Applied Sciences. In his final year of studies Eduardo did an internship at the Embassy of Panama, where he now works as a diplomat.

After I graduated, I followed a bachelor’s program in European Studies at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, which I graduated from last year.
What Navitas college did you study at and when did you study?
Hi, my name is Eduardo. I’m from Panama and I did the International Foundation program at The Hague Pathway College back in 2020. After I graduated, I followed a bachelor’s program in European Studies at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, which I graduated from last year.
What is one of your favourite memories during your time at Navitas?
One of my favourite memories at The Hague Pathway College was celebrating King’s Day, which we did online because it was coronavirus pandemic time and there was a lockdown. And then also, before COVID, going for drinks with my friends and just spending time overall, after class all together.
How has studying at Navitas made an impact on your life and that of your family?
Starting at The Hague Pathway College has had a big impact on my life. Actually, the friends that were my roommates for my three years with university, I met them during my days at pathway college. Actually, the first day when I started lectures, we became friends. From there, we made a WhatsApp group and then after that we just became close friends that have been hanging out with each other for more than four years now.
What have you achieved in your life and career since graduating?
When it comes to personal life, I’ve seen many good things. For example, moving to a new country and making it to basically live speaking English the whole day, which I was not able to do before moving here.
And when it comes to academic achievements, I finished my bachelor’s in European Studies. During the second year of my bachelor’s, I went on exchange at the University of Padova in Italy. And during the third last year, after writing my thesis, I did an internship at the Embassy of Panama, where I work now as a diplomat.
What advice would you have for new students entering a Navitas program?
For the new students, I would advise you to focus on academics of course, but besides that, focus on building strong lasting friendships that will stay with you not only for your three or four years of university, but maybe for your whole life.
