It’s been great to be able to work at several different campuses, meet people all around the country and even around the world.

When and how did you come to be working with Navitas?

I started working at Navitas back in 2008. I studied a Bachelor of Audio in 2005. Then I left to work in the industry. I quickly learned that the industry wasn’t for me. I was locked in a studio with no human interaction for 8 hours a day. I realised that I am definitely the most social person that I know, so luckily at the time that I was thinking about leaving, the assistant manager at the time called me and asked me if I wanted to take on a role at reception. So I took it on and I never left.

What is one of your favourite memories working at Navitas?

One of my favourite memories of working at Navitas was having the opportunity to work at the Adelaide campus. I was so lucky to get the opportunity to meet other people in the flesh. I got to explore another state that I’d never been to, and I got to explore another campus.

How has working at Navitas made an impact on your life?

Working at Navitas has impacted my life by opening doors to opportunities I otherwise wouldn’t have had. I’ve had the opportunity of working in student services, working in the marketing team, the sales team, and management team, all that without, you know, any prior experience. And it’s really nice that Navitas had the confidence in me to achieve these goals.

What are your key professional achievements during your time at Navitas?

My key achievement at Navitas is bringing people together. It’s been great to be able to work at several different campuses, meet people all around the country and even around the world, and connect them to other people within the business.

It’s been great to meet people that I’ve really connected with and have continued to have friendships and relationships with for years. I still have friends from people that I met over 10 years ago and that have stopped working with SAE, or even students that studied here when I first started. They’re still a really important part of my life.
