Edith Cowan College welcomed school visitors from Cambodia
Edith Cowan College (ECC) was thrilled to welcome visitors from Krou Yeung School this week!
Krou Yeung School is a private school established in 2001 with campuses in Ratanakiri (the main campus), Stung Treng, and Phnom Penh in Cambodia. The school currently hosts around 4,300 students and will soon open a new campus in Preah Vihea Province. The school offers a comprehensive program from K-Year 12 incorporating units in various international curricula such as Chinese, English, IT, and STEM.
The founder of Krou Yeung School visited Perth in May and decided to focus on Western Australia (WA) for future partnerships. Before this decision, they had strong connections with schools in New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland. Hoping to increase the number of students continuing their studies in WA, a group of parents/school counsellors were selected for the visit to Perth.
ECC was pleased to host them this month, offering the opportunity to explore the ECC | Edith Cowan University Joondalup campus and the School of Science (Computing/IT).
