Congratulations to Alistair Baker, College Director and Principal at ICRGU, and his team, on the renewal of their partnership with Robert Gordon University (RGU)!

On Wednesday 13th November, an official signing ceremony took place at our International College Robert Gordon University (ICRGU) campus in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Paul Lovegrove, CEO Europe & Global Chief Officer at Navitas, commented:

“It was a pleasure to spend time with Steve Olivier (RGU Vice Chancellor and Principal) and his excellent team, including Prof Lynn Kilbride and Duncan Cockburn. A huge thanks to our leadership team — Alistair Baker, Paul Lockhart-Thomas, and Suzie Anderson — for their dedication in making this partnership such a success over the years.”

Alistair Baker, College Director and Principal at ICRGU, shared:

“There is no better way to appreciate the success of our students than witnessing how comfortable and engaged they are participating in campus events. I am confident that ICRGU will continue to provide a welcoming and inclusive community for students from around the world for many years to come.”

The signing event coincided with ICRGU’s annual Cultural Day, a celebration of international diversity where students proudly showcase their home countries through traditional dress and speciality cuisine. The festivities created a vibrant buzz across campus, offering a full cultural experience.

One highlight of the day was a fantastic presentation by Imelda Ngetich, a BSc Adult Nursing student, who shared personal insights into her Kenyan heritage and East African values.

ICRGU also welcomed Navitas UK Chair, Helen Higson, to join the celebrations. She enjoyed sampling the incredible dishes prepared by students as part of the Culture Day festivities.

Suzie Anderson, Director of Marketing and Admissions at ICRGU, concluded:

I was delighted to see everyone coming together to celebrate the success of our partnership with RGU. Our mission to transform lives through education is evident in the way ICRGU and RGU work hand-in-hand to support students every step of the way. Combining the signing event with our annual cultural celebrations allowed us to truly appreciate the positive impact our students are making to the campus community.”
