ARU College is thrilled to offer pathways into Biomedical Engineering at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU). This exciting and innovative course will be available at ARU’s modern Chelmsford campus in September 2025. Designed to combine the best of engineering, biology, and medicine, the course’s ultimate goal is to improve healthcare treatments and advance medical technologies.

ARU’s BEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering degree gives students a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles as they apply to the healthcare sector. From medical device design to improving healthcare systems, this course offers a solid foundation for tackling real-world healthcare challenges using the latest engineering techniques.

The course is informed by employers and includes an optional placement year, ensuring students gain valuable industry experience. Whether they want to pursue a career with medical device companies, research institutions, or within the National Health Service (NHS), this degree course will equip students with the skills needed to succeed.

ARU’s Chelmsford campus is ideally located ten minutes from the city centre and only 35 minutes from central London. With state-of-the-art laboratory facilities, students are provided with hands-on experience in an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration.
