The Navitas Impact Awards
This year at the Navitas Business Partner Conference in Siem Reap, Cambodia, we celebrated our second ever Navitas Impact Awards. The Navitas Impact Awards recognise and celebrate ESG-related initiatives creating positive change across the international education sector and give partners the chance to share the work they are doing on a global stage.
In our second year, we were delighted to receive applications from a wide range of partners: recruitment partners, university partners, suppliers, schools, and Navitas Education Trust (NET) partners.
We were delighted to announce one highly commended award and one overall winner.
Cambodian Children’s Fund: Winner, Navitas Impact Awards 2024
Cambodian Children’s Fund wins our second ever Impact Award for their STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) learning centre, the Neelson Cripps Academy to support disadvantaged children to gain access to education.
Cambodian Children’s Fund aims to break cycles of poverty and abuse and create change in disadvantaged and vulnerable communities in Cambodia. The Navitas Education Trust has supported CCF’s Leadership Training program in Phnom Penh, which links leadership and education for children and young people in the community. As part of their programs, CCF is dedicated to empowering children, and especially young women, through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education. Their flagship program, the Neeson Cripps Academy is a state-of-the-art STEAM learning centre that provides high quality education to some of Cambodia’s most disadvantaged children. Since the program started in 2017, 1727 students have participated in STEAM activities, with one group of 9 students winning a national robotics competition, going on to represent Cambodia and compete internationally.

Colegio Bilingüe Santa Marta: Highly Commended, Navitas Impact Awards 2024
Colegio Bilingüe Santa Marta for their Inclusion Department, a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the wellbeing and holistic development of all students.
Colegio Bilingüe Santa Marta is an internationally accredited educational community, dedicated to forming bilingual citizens (Spanish – English) with a global mindset, social and environmental responsibility, ethical and moral values, sports discipline and artistic sensibility. The School’s Inclusion Department is a dedicated multidisciplinary team focused on the wellbeing and holistic development of all students. Comprised of specialists in psychology, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and special education tutors, this department provides tailored support to students with challenges such as depression, anxiety, or illnesses, as well as to those students with developmental needs, including autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome. The department’s approach revolves around creating individualised curriculum plans that address the specific requirements of each student, ensuring an inclusive and accessible educational environment.
