ARU offers 96% UG degrees with a placement year option
Why learn it when you can do it? Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) offers 96% of undergraduate degrees with an additional optional placement year, meaning students can earn while they learn with a paid placement year during their studies.
Taking a placement year can help students get multiple benefits, including expanding their network and connections, gaining a professional reference, developing transferable employability skills, and securing a graduate role when they complete their degree. The key benefit of adding a placement year is that students can save money for their final year. ARU students on paid placements earn an average of £18,000 per year.
In the past, ARU students have secured placement year positions with large and well-known brands such as Sony, Microsoft, and Toshiba in locations across the UK, Europe, and the world. Some of the popular locations include Cambridge, London, Edinburgh, the U.S., Switzerland, Germany, Chile, and India.
ARU has a fantastic and dedicated placements team to help students navigate the job market and secure placement. Last year, the placements team supported 92% of undergraduate students in securing a year-long placement.
