ECU Sri Lanka starts 2025 with impactful education initiatives

ECU Sri Lanka kicked off 2025 with impactful engagements in education and industry. As a leading university, ECU participated in the EDEX Expo 2025, held at BMICH from 17 to 19 January, offering aspiring students the chance to visit the stall, explore programs, and plan their academic futures.

On 4 January, ECU Sri Lanka hosted its first Open Day of the year, providing young minds the opportunity to discover their future pathways. Visitors connected with academic counsellors and gained valuable insights into ECU’s diverse offerings, making it an ideal platform for those looking to shape their careers with world-class education.

Adding to the momentum, ECU Sri Lanka’s Bioholics Club organised a Genetics Forum on 6 January for Biomedical students. The event featured distinguished professionals, including Dr Chandanamali Punchihewa, Ms Hubika Joshi, and Dr Rajika Savanadasa, who shared cutting-edge insights on advancements in genetics. This forum allowed students to engage in meaningful discussions, expand their knowledge, and gain industry perspectives.

With a vibrant start to the year, ECU Sri Lanka continues to champion innovation, learning, and professional growth, empowering students to excel in their chosen fields.
