Green Apple – our eMagazine for Navitas educators – Issue 13 is OUT NOW!

Launched in 2020 against the backdrop of the global pandemic as a means of connecting and engaging our people, Green Apple has evolved to become a place to share impactful interviews and stories, information to build skills and knowledge, and vital industry news across the Navitas network.

To coincide with World Teachers’ Day (5 October), we are delighted to share the latest issue of Green Apple, the eMagazine produced for our teaching community. It’s fitting that Issue 13 is released on the same day we celebrate World Teachers’ Day, as so many individuals from our amazing network of teachers have contributed their wisdom and experience to make this publication a must read.

Issue 13 features the voices of several of our inspiring teachers, educators and those who support our students on a daily basis. This edition is packed with interesting and informative stories from across our network – we encourage you to have a read! The generosity of spirit on display in this issue, by teachers sharing their personal experience and professional insights, reflects the extraordinary people we have working with students to achieve learning goals, overcome challenges, and ultimately transform lives.

Among the highlights; Navitas Skilled Futures teachers, Sheera Lee and Michelle Barons, share their experiences of visiting our Navitas Education Trust (NET) partner, Classroom of Hope, in Lombok, Indonesia. Find out how SAIBT is combating loneliness among students by hosting speed-friending events, Fraser International College is transforming the lives of refugee students, and The Hague Pathway College is fostering social awareness and inspiring action among their students. Kristie Marshman shares her experience of living and working in a neurodiverse world, and our 2024 INSPIRE winners share what winning the award means to them.

This issue also features the biggest collection of Green Apple profile pieces yet! Discover what passions drive these educators to excel in their role – Hala Mansour, David Crowe, Frank Saunders, Petar Stojanovic, Sajani Dias, Felicity Inns and Mohammed Imtiaz.
