ICP Awards Night celebrates students and staff’s achievements
International College Portsmouth (ICP) hosted Awards Night at the Queens Hotel Portsmouth on Thursday, 4 April. As the first large event since the pandemic, over 100 people attended the celebration.
The Awards Night is a formal celebration of ICP students’ and staffs’ outstanding achievements and contributions throughout the year. It recognises their hard work, dedication, and talent. Since 2009, ICP has progressed over 2,000 students to the University of Portsmouth. The college currently hosts over 500 students from over 50 different countries.
The evening started with welcome speeches, delivered by Chris Rowe, the Head of College Services, and Chris Chang, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement and Student Life) from the University of Portsmouth. During the event, ICP and University of Portsmouth staff and students presented over 20 award categories, including 100% Attendance, Sports Awards, Student Nominated Awards, Academic Achievement, and many more!
In addition to these celebratory awards, certificates, and trophies, students enjoyed the delicious buffet and had opportunities to take photos at a photo booth. ICP’s Awards Night also featured performances from current students demonstrating incredible singing and dancing talents, much to the delight of all guests.
The event was a huge success and received excellent feedback from all involved. ICP appreciates the College Services Team and Student Awards Committee, who put significant time, effort, and passion into this project.
