Navitas acquires Australasian pathway colleges from Study Group

Global education leader, Navitas, has completed its acquisition of Taylors College Sydney and the University of Waikato College from Study Group. The sale took effect on 12 May 2023.

The colleges offer pathway courses to degrees at the University of Sydney and the University of Waikato, and attract talented students from around the world.

The transaction is consistent with the strategies of both companies and both are working to deliver a seamless transition for current and future students in the coming months.

Under Navitas ownership, current and future students continue to be taught by existing college staff and the programs continue to be recognised as qualification for admission to degree level study by each university.

Taylors College Auckland, which provides pathway programs for the University of Auckland, will continue to be operated by Study Group.
