Navitas celebrates World Teachers Day
On October 5, we said thank you to the global network of incredible Navitas teachers who work every day to transform the lives of our students. Coming to us from a huge variety of backgrounds, experiences, and passions, our teachers bring commitment, open-mindedness, and understanding to our classrooms and our fortunate students.
The theme for this year’s World Teachers’ Day is “The teachers we need for the education we want: The global imperative to reverse the teacher shortage.”
The world needs more teachers. Alongside our parents and family members, teachers have an enormous influence over the people we become. As mentors, guides and role models, teachers adapt to a wide range of challenges and circumstances to deliver the best learning and development opportunities for those under their tutelage. They inspire us to be creative, curious, innovative and resourceful. They teach resilience and foster our inquisitive nature, encouraging us to question, to think outside the square and make the world a better place today than it was yesterday.
At Navitas, our network of amazing teachers are integral to ensuring that an inclusive and high-quality education is available to every single one of our students. We are so grateful for what they give to our students every day, and their strength throughout the last few years of change, disruption, and difficulty.
This World Teachers’ Day, we proudly launched Issue 11 of Green Apple, our e-magazine for the Navitas teaching community, packed with stories from across our industry and insightful pieces from our very own educators.
We also announced an opportunity for two of our teachers to visit our Navitas Education Trust partners in Vietnam in 2024.
